Post-Sismo Activity in Guerrero.

Seismologists continue to monitor the San Marcos, Guerrero region following a significant 6.5 magnitude earthquake that occurred earlier this month. As of late last week, the National Seismological Service (SSN) has recorded over 4,000 aftershocks. While most have been of low magnitude, a recent 4.1 quake in the area has kept local authorities on high alert for structural stability in rural communities, though no major new damage has been reported.
