Fall Of El Mencho And The Code Red Recovery.

A massive military operation in Tapalpa, Jalisco, resulted in the death of Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, the long-sought leader of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG). Following the raid, several states (including Jalisco and Colima) were placed under a Code Red as retaliatory blockades and arson attacks broke out. As of March 1, the situation has largely stabilized. State authorities have officially lifted the security alerts, allowing schools, public transport, and commercial flights in cities like Guadalajara and Puerto Vallarta to resume their normal schedules. Local analysts are now closely watching for a potential internal power struggle within the CJNG to see who will step into the leadership vacuum.
