2.3 GW Added To Renewable Energy Pipeline.

Mexico significantly accelerated its energy transition in early 2026, adding 2.3 GW to its renewable energy pipeline in just two months. Major projects submitted for environmental review include large-scale solar complexes in Coahuila and Nuevo León. Simultaneously, the Ministry of Culture has been rolling out the Plan Michoacán, a social initiative designed to strengthen the community fabric through the arts. A central pillar of this plan is the creation of 100 community choirs for youth, culminating in a statewide gathering later this year.
