Switzerland Boosts Support for Burkina Faso with New Investment.

Switzerland has announced a fresh development cooperation package worth more than $23 million to support Burkina Faso over the next four years. The funding is intended to aid humanitarian efforts, economic initiatives, and governance reforms in the Sahel region, where political instability has increased local needs. Swiss diplomats describe the commitment as a sign of steadfast international engagement, even in areas facing security challenges. The move also aims to strengthen bilateral relations and institutional dialogue between Bern and Ouagadougou.
