Digital Revolution To Reshape South Korean Farming.

The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, in partnership with the Ministry of Science and ICT, has launched a nationwide initiative to intelligentize the country's agricultural sector. The plan includes the construction of 300 Smart Agricultural Products Processing Centers by 2030. these facilities will use AI to automate the sorting, receiving, and shipping of produce. A new AI-based livestock grading system is being rolled out to improve accuracy and consumer trust in meat processing. The government aims to have 70% of all meat graded by AI within the next four years. Beyond the fields, Smart Rural Communities are being established to provide AI-driven transport and healthcare services for an aging rural population.
