Korea AeroSpace Administration Has Been Finalized.
The newly established Korea AeroSpace Administration has finalized its R&D roadmap, committing 949.5 billion won to establish South Korea as a top-tier space power. The plan prioritizes the development of a lunar lander and the continued expansion of the Nuri rocket series. KASA is also focusing on a triangular system of space clusters to encourage private-sector involvement. A major portion of the budget is dedicated to the Korea Positioning System a sovereign GPS alternative and the launch of the multipurpose practical satellite No. 8 to enhance national disaster response and security.
