Animal Airlift Evacuates Pets from War Zone.

A special government-organized Aegean Airlines flight arrived in Athens today from Abu Dhabi, carrying 101 people and 45 pets. This animal airlift was specifically designed to help Greek citizens and their animals who were trapped by the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. Emotional scenes were reported at the airport as families were reunited with their dogs and cats in safety.
