During the Spring Festival, China reached a major technological breakthrough with the Zhi Fei, its first commercially operated smart container ship. The vessel successfully completed a journey that included autonomous navigation, berthing, and cargo loading at the Qingdao Port. This marks the first time a country has achieved a full-process unmanned operation for a container ocean ship. Simultaneously, researchers from Tsinghua University released the ASTERIS model, an AI-powered system that allows scientists to extract faint signals from galaxies over 15 billion light-years away, generating the deepest deep-space images ever recorded by the nation.
