Youdian Village Makeover.

Located in Jiangxi Province, Youdian Village has undergone a dramatic environmental turnaround that was recently featured in national reports as of January 2026. Only a few years ago, the village was defined by abandoned open-pit mines and crumbling ancestral homes. Under the national rural revitalization strategy, the mines were reclaimed through soil remediation and replanted with native flora. The village now features unique modern touches to attract younger travelers, including an underwater book house, lakeside cafés, and a traditional Chinese medicine experience center. This blend of trendy and traditional helped the village welcome over 100,000 tourists in the last year alone.
