Thousand Sails Constellation.

China’s commercial space sector is seeing a massive surge in investment, reaching approximately $350 billion this year. The primary focus is the Qianfan (Thousand Sails) constellation—China’s answer to SpaceX’s Starlink. As of mid-March, China has successfully deployed its 20th group of internet satellites, bringing the network to roughly 160 operational nodes. The project aims to have 15,000 satellites in orbit by 2030 to provide global internet coverage and ensure "strategic resilience."
