Major Industrial Explosion in Inner Mongolia.

A significant explosion occurred early this afternoon (around 3:00 p.m. local time) at a plant owned by Baogang United Steel in the city of Baotou, Inner Mongolia. Official reports confirm 2 deaths and 66 hospitalizations, with 3 individuals in serious condition. At least 5 people remain missing. The blast was powerful enough to cause tremors in surrounding areas and sent massive plumes of smoke visible for miles. Rescue crews are currently on-site, and authorities have launched a formal investigation into the cause.
