In sports, China’s badminton team dominated the finals of the 2026 India Open in New Delhi today, sweeping both the men’s and women’s doubles titles. World No. 1 pair Liang Weikeng and Wang Chang staged a dramatic comeback to defeat Japan's Midorikawa and Yamashita (17-21, 25-23, 21-16). Liu Shengshu and Tan Ning secured their second title of the season with a straight-set victory over Japan's Yuki Fukushima and Mayu Matsumoto.
