Lanyue And One-Year Stays.

The China Manned Space Agency (CMSA) recently detailed an ambitious 2026 schedule focused on the Tiangong Space Station and the roadmap for a 2030 lunar landing. China will launch two crewed missions and one cargo flight this year. Notably, one taikonauT is scheduled to spend a full year in orbit to gather data on long-duration spaceflight. Tests were successfully completed in February on the Mengzhou spacecraft and the Lanyue lunar lander. The project has also reached a milestone with the successful sea recovery of a reusable rocket stage, a key step in lowering costs for future lunar exploration.
