Damaged Shenzhou-20 Space Capsule Returns.
China’s Shenzhou-20 spacecraft successfully returned to Earth on Monday, landing in Inner Mongolia. The mission was notable because the capsule returned uncrewed after engineers discovered cracks in the viewport window caused by space debris. While the astronauts returned on a different craft previously, this week's recovery allowed scientists to retrieve a "retired" extravehicular spacesuit that set a record for supporting 20 spacewalks. This was the first emergency recovery operation of its kind for the Tiangong space station, proving the China Manned Space Agency's (CMSA) ability to handle orbital damage.
