Following a period of eased border tensions, Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Lin Jian emphasized that Beijing views its relationship with India as a long-term strategic priority. Furthermore, China maintains that the border dispute is a bilateral matter and firmly rejects any third-party intervention or judgment from the U.S. regarding the situation.
