Canadian PM Carney Visits China.

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney arrived in Beijing on Wednesday for a three-day visit, marking the first trip by a Canadian leader to China in nearly a decade. The visit aims to repair diplomatic ties and diversify Canada’s trade as relations with the United States strain under the Trump administration's high tariffs and threats of annexation. Carney is scheduled to meet with President Xi Jinping to discuss de-escalating a recent trade war, which has seen heavy tariffs on Chinese electric vehicles and Canadian agricultural products, while exploring new opportunities in the energy and commercial sectors.
