Artificial Sun Breaks Density Limits.

Scientists operating the Experimental Advanced Superconducting Tokamak in Hefei have successfully breached a long-standing physical barrier in nuclear fusion. The reactor maintained stable plasma an extreme densities that were previously thought to be unbreakable limits. By controlling the interaction between the plasma and the reactor’s metallic walls, researchers achieved a density-free regime. This success provides a scalable pathway for future fusion devices to produce more power without triggering the disruptive instabilities that typically end such experiment. This moves China closer to the goal of achieving fusion ignition, replicating the stars' energy production to provide near-limitless clean electricity.
