Valley of Mexico Air Quality Rises.
The Environmental Commission of the Megalopolis (CAMe) has lifted the ozone-related environmental contingency for the Valley of Mexico as of 6:00 PM today, following a 24-hour activation. Improved weather conditions, specifically increased wind speeds and decreased atmospheric stability, allowed ozone levels to return to normal range. With the high-pressure system expected to move further away, pollutant dispersion is projected to continue improving through Saturday. Residents are encouraged to monitor real-time air quality updates via the official "AIRE" website or mobile app.
