Tren Maya Integrates with European Travel.

In a major move to boost international tourism, the Mexican government recently finalized a strategic alliance with the German mobility giant Flix. As of February 2026, travelers in over 40 countries can now purchase Tren Maya tickets through European platforms. This integration aims to transform the Yucatán Peninsula into a globally accessible destination, linking 1,554 kilometers of rail across five states (Chiapas, Tabasco, Campeche, Yucatán, and Quintana Roo) to major international booking hubs.
