Sheinbaum: Oil to Cuba is Legal.

President Claudia Sheinbaum explained that Mexico sends oil to Cuba primarily for humanitarian reasons and because of the long history between the two countries. She stated that this support is legal and has been done by many previous Mexican governments, regardless of their political party. While Mexico plans to release more details on the exact costs and amount of oil being sent, Sheinbaum emphasized that Mexico is acting as an independent nation to help the Cuban people during difficult times.
