Power Grade Taking Over For The Year.

Mexico is aggressively transforming its power grid. Between late 2025 and early 2026, the country added over 2.3 GW of renewable energy projects to its development pipeline. Solar power accounts for nearly 85% of these new projects, including the massive Rincón del Arco complex in Nuevo León, which will house over 1.5 million solar panels. The government is completing the final stages of the Puerto Peñasco solar plant, which is set to become the largest in Latin America. This shift is part of a broader national strategy to reach 62% clean energy by 2038, focusing on state-led infrastructure and sustainable Mixed Development investment models.
