Monterrey’s Electric Mobility Surge (Nuevo León).
The industrial powerhouse of Monterrey is pivoting heavily toward green tech. The electric mobility company VEMO just announced an investment of 825 million pesos to build an integrated EV ecosystem in the city. This includes 60 new fast-charging hubs and a specialized 1,800-square-meter maintenance workshop capable of servicing 1,500 vehicles a month. This coincides with the incMTY 2026 festival (March 17–20), where local universities like Tecnológico de Monterrey are partnering with the state government to focus on Artificial Intelligence and Future Now tech applications.
