Migrant Genesis 2026 Caravan Marches.

Frustrated by a backlogged immigration system and increasing restrictions, a group of approximately 500 migrants launched a new march, dubbed Caravana Genesis 2026, from Tapachula this past Wednesday. The marchers are protesting what they describe as prison-like conditions in southern Mexico and reported extortion by local officials. This surge comes amid heightened pressure from the U.S. administration and reports of a secret deportation agreement currently being scrutinized by international observers.
