Mexico City’s Vive Latino Breaks Records.
Mexico City recently reaffirmed its status as the "cultural heart of the nation" following the massive success of the Vive Latino 2026 festival on March 14–15. For the first time, the festival was held at the newly minted GNP Seguros Stadium, attracting over 160,000 fans over two days. While global stars like Lenny Kravitz headlined, the festival focused heavily on Ibero-American rock and alternative scenes, featuring icons like Los Fabulosos Cadillacs and Juanes. The city government reported an economic boost of over 1.7 billion pesos, driven by a surge in domestic tourism as visitors flocked to the capital for the "Bridge of Juarez" holiday weekend.
