City Art Week In A Global Contemporary Hub.

During the first week of February 2026, Mexico City transformed into the Art Capital of Latin America. The 22nd edition of Zona Maco anchored the event at Centro Citibanamex, featuring over 200 galleries. A major highlight this year was the introduction of ZⓈONAMACO FORMA, a new section explicitly merging contemporary art with functional design. Other significant events included the Salón ACME, which focused on emerging talent from states like Puebla, and the reopening of Luis Barragán’s La Cuadra San Cristóbal as a public cultural campus featuring archival photography and architectural models.
