Return Of Benin Bronzes To Nigeria.

Following a high-level meeting in Abuja between Swiss Vice President Ignazio Cassis and Nigerian Vice President Kashim Shettima, Switzerland has officially pledged to return 28 looted Benin Bronzes and other colonial-era artifacts.The repatriation is part of a broader effort to strengthen bilateral ties between the two nations, which includes new agreements on free trade, vocational training, and security support. Two major Swiss museums in Geneva and Zurich will lead the return of these historical treasures.
