Protest On 4th Anniversary of Ukraine Invasion.

While much of the domestic news is focused on the legal fallout of the former president, hundreds of protesters gathered near the Russian Embassy in Seoul today to mark exactly four years since the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Carrying banners that read Victory will be ours, the demonstrators called for further international pressure on Moscow.The protest highlights South Korea's increasingly vocal role in global affairs under the current administration, especially as the nation navigates its own complex security ties and a recent 7.5% increase in defense spending for the 2026 fiscal year.
