Production KF-21 Fighter Jet Rolls Out.

South Korea’s ambition to become a top-tier defense exporter reached a major milestone this week with the rollout of the first production KF-21 Boramae fighter jet. At a ceremony at Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) in Sacheon, President Lee Jae-myung unveiled the two-seat jet (serial number 26-001). This 4.5-generation fighter is a centerpiece of the country's self-defense strategy, intended to replace aging F-4 and KF-5 jets. The government aims to leverage this success to position South Korea among the world's top four defense-industrial nations by the end of the decade.
