Kim Jong UN Vows Nuclear Status.

In a major policy speech to the Supreme People’s Assembly on March 23, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un formally designated South Korea as the most hostile state. Kim pledged to irreversibly cement the North’s status as a nuclear power and warned of merciless retaliation if provoked. While he accused the U.S. of state terrorism regarding the ongoing Middle East conflict, analysts noted he refrained from calling out President Trump by name, potentially leaving a narrow window for future diplomacy.
