Shopping Malls Reducing Hours.

Following the declaration of a national energy emergency, major shopping malls across the country have begun shortening their operating hours to help conserve power. While a shipment of over 700,000 barrels of Russian crude oil arrived this week to bolster reserves through June, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) clarified that a price freeze is not yet in effect. Despite this, consumers are bracing for significant hikes in LPG and electricity rates scheduled for April, as global supply remains volatile due to ongoing conflicts in the Middle East.
