Philippines’ Growing Tourism Industry.

Tourism plays a major role in the economy of the Philippines. With more than 7,000 islands, the country offers stunning beaches, coral reefs, mountains, and vibrant cities that attract travelers from around the world. One of the most famous destinations is Boracay, known for its powdery white sand and clear blue waters. After a major environmental cleanup effort in 2018, the island reopened with new rules designed to protect its natural beauty and ensure sustainable tourism. Another popular location is Palawan, home to dramatic limestone cliffs, lagoons, and diverse marine life.
