Metro Manila Launches First Unified Science High School Entrance Exam.

In a major shift for the capital's education system, the Department of Education (DepEd) conducted the first-ever Unified Science High School Admissions Test (USHAT) today. Previously, each science high school in Metro Manila administered its own separate entrance exam with varying standards. The new unified system is designed to reduce the "testing burden" on Grade 6 students and their families while ensuring a more equitable and transparent selection process across the region's premier public science schools.
