Healthcare Moves Along Children.

The demographic crisis in Japan reached a new milestone, with the government reporting that births fell to a record low of approximately 705,000. In response, Japan is implementing the New Dimension policy framework. The government has officially abolished income thresholds for child allowances, making all families eligible regardless of earnings, and has doubled monthly payments for third children. A new universal daycare program is being rolled out, allowing parents to access childcare regardless of their employment status a major departure from previous rules that required both parents to be working. To address the resulting labor shortage, Japan is doubling down on Agentic AI and humanoid robotics in the service sector. Companies like SoftBank are now deploying robots globally to assist in healthcare and hospitality.
