Bank Of Greece Remains Resilient.

Despite the volatility in the Middle East, the Greek economy remains surprisingly resilient. The Bank of Greece and major agencies like Fitch and Moody's recently released updated forecasts. The Greek economy is projected to grow, continuing to outperform the Eurozone average. Analysts note that Greece is better shielded from energy shocks than it was. However, the Bank of Greece warned that if the Middle East crisis extends beyond a month, the fiscal drag effect and rising fuel surcharges could dampen private consumption.
