Longing

Longing. I miss you like the ocean misses the water. The water is nothing without the ocean. Does that make sense to you? The ocean needs the water. The water does not need the ocean. You are bigger than you give yourself credit for. You are the water that needs the ocean to live on. But the water can live on its own. The ocean does not need the water. The ocean can live without the water but it will whole. Whole - missing everything. A missing whole. You think like me but I do not miss you. You see how longing will manipulate your mind. How sad. Pick your side. That is longing. Wanting everything but nothing at all. Nothing at all but everything. Heartbreak upon heartbreak. You just want to hurt. And it makes sense. Love you but I don’t. I don’t need a man to miss me to make himself feel better.
