Underwater Book House Of Youdian Village.
In the hills of Jiangxi Province, a centuries-old village called Youdian has been completely transformed. It used to be defined by abandoned mines, but the local community has turned the landscape into a nature resort. They’ve built an underwater book house and a lakeside café where an old open-pit mine used to be. Many young people who left for big cities are actually moving back. One local, a 38-year-old named Hu, recently moved back from Xiamen to become the village baker. He now works in a trendy bakery housed in his family’s ancestral Ming Dynasty home, which was restored for free by a heritage program.
