Mini Horse Meet-and-Greets (Portland/Suzhou Link).

To celebrate the Year of the Horse (2026), several classical Chinese gardens have introduced a hit attraction: Miniature Horse Meet-and-Greets. At the Lan Su Chinese Garden (and its sister sites in China), visitors have been lining up for Golden Hour photos with tiny, decorated horses. The events feature live guzheng music (a traditional zither) and lantern-lit evening walks. It’s become a viral slow living trend for Gen Z, who are flocking to these gardens to take photos in traditional Hanfu clothing with the mini horses.
