Following the recent legislative sessions in Beijing, the central government has officially pivoted its economic strategy. The core of the plan is the Internal Circulation strategy, aiming to make China’s supply chains immune to external shocks. Unprecedented state subsidies are being directed toward quantum computing and semiconductor lithography to bypass international patent bottlenecks. The plan accelerates the Dual Carbon goals, pushing for 80% of new energy vehicles (NEVs) to be powered by solid-state battery technology by 2030.
