Bamboo Drones Take Flight.

In a blend of ancient material and futuristic tech, Chinese scientists in Fujian province unveiled the world's first large-scale fixed-wing drone made of bamboo fiber. It’s a 75% cost reduction compared to carbon fiber. Plus, it’s remarkably eco-friendly. The drone has been nicknamed the Flying Panda by locals. Beyond just being a tech demo, rural provinces are testing these grass-tech drones for a very specific local job: delivering hot spicy hotpot (malatang) to remote mountain hikers and researchers.
