February 2026 has been a landmark month for Chinese aerospace. The country successfully retrieved the first stage of a Long March-10 rocket from the sea, a major step toward reusable launch technology. Beyond space, the government’s new roadmap highlights six frontier technologies for 2026, including 6G communications, brain-computer interfaces, and embodied intelligence (humanoid robots), aiming to integrate these into the daily economy rather than keeping them as isolated lab projects.
