Security Crisis Deepens In Sinaloa Mining Sector.

Following a series of abductions in late January, the mining company Vizsla Silver confirmed today that the death toll of workers taken from its Panuco project in Concordia has risen to seven. The incident is being attributed to ongoing feuds between rival cartel factions in the region. Mexican authorities are continuing search efforts for remaining missing personnel, while several mining firms in the area have announced they are reviewing and "strengthening" their private security protocols in coordination with local law enforcement.
