Authorities in Mexico City and the State of Mexico have finalized preparations for a major regional earthquake drill scheduled for tomorrow, February 18, at 11 a.m. National Civil Protection Coordinator Laura Velázquez confirmed that over 13,900 loudspeakers will be tested across the region. The drill is part of a national effort to improve response times and safety protocols in one of the world's most seismically active zones.
