Pension For The Well-Being Of People.
The Pension for the Well-being of People with Disabilities is a fundamental social program by the Mexican government designed to ensure financial security and equal rights for individuals living with permanent disabilities. As of 2026, the program provides a direct payment of 3,300 pesos every two months via the Banco del Bienestar. In 24 states where universality agreements have been signed, the pension covers individuals aged 0 to 64, while in other regions, it prioritizes children and youth up to age 29 or residents of marginalized and indigenous communities. Significantly, this pension is a constitutional right, meaning the state is legally obligated to provide it regardless of the current administration, aiming to reduce the social and economic barriers faced by over 6 million people in the country.
