EU to Invest 55 Million Pesos in Mexican Projects.

The European Union has committed 55 million pesos (US $3 million) to fund five new projects in Mexico starting in 2026 to combat gender-based violence.

These initiatives aim to strengthen the capabilities of Mexican security and justice institutions through political advocacy, new technologies, and prevention networks.

The funding will specifically target improved access to justice for victims of sexual violence, trafficking, and child exploitation.
