Chiapas Sets A World Cup Guinness Record.

In a massive display of community spirit, 4,757 people in Chiapas gathered on March 2, 2026, to set the first of three planned Guinness World Records aimed at building hype for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. While the specific record involved a coordinated football-themed demonstration, it’s part of a broader national initiative to showcase Mexico’s passion for fútbol as it prepares to co-host the tournament. Two more record-breaking attempts are scheduled in different states over the coming weeks to keep the momentum going before the June kickoff.
