Airport Expansion and Carbon Credits.

The airport operator GAP announced today a major expansion of 12 terminals across Mexico, including Puerto Vallarta, Los Cabos, and Guadalajara, to handle increasing tourism and preparation for the World Cup. In northern Mexico, a massive project spanning 4 million acres of desert was approved for 3.03 million soil carbon credits. This represents the largest issuance of its kind in North America, involving 158 ranchers using improved land management to combat greenhouse gas emissions.
