South Korea To Host UN Climate Week 2026.

The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) recently announced that Yeosu, South Korea, will host one of the two global Climate Weeks in April 2026. The event will highlight Korea's vision of a decarbonized green society and showcase domestic climate solutions that can be exported globally. This is a major step in South Korea's effort to lead the Green Transformation (GX), focusing on practical mechanisms to turn international climate commitments into concrete local actions, particularly in renewable energy and green technology.
