Mandatory AI Literacy In National Education.

Starting with the Spring 2026 semester, South Korea has become the first nation to make AI Ethics and Prompt Engineering a mandatory subject for all students from elementary through high school. This curriculum shift moves away from traditional rote memorization toward collaborative intelligence, teaching students how to verify AI-generated data and use generative tools for creative problem-solving. The goal is to ensure the next generation is not just users of technology, but architects of the K-AI ecosystem that the country is betting its future on.
