A total of 342 Overseas Filipino Workers safely landed at Ninoy Aquino International Airport this morning on a government-chartered flight from Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. This marks the second major repatriation flight this week, facilitated by the Department of Migrant Workers and the Department of Foreign Affairs due to rising regional instability. Upon arrival, the returnees were provided with immediate financial assistance and transport back to their respective provinces, with the government reaffirming its open-door policy for any distressed citizens abroad.
