Trials For Flexible Perovskite.

Utility giant Tokyo Gas has teamed up with UK-based Power Roll to begin the first large-scale trials of flexible perovskite solar film in Japan. Unlike traditional rigid silicon panels, this lightweight film can be applied to curved surfaces and buildings that previously couldn't support the weight of solar arrays. Japan is positioning itself as a global leader in this technology to meet its 2030 carbon reduction goals, especially as it moves away from traditional energy imports during the ongoing Middle East crisis.
